Joy || Hope || Share
I do not believe that old traditions die or fade out - I believe that they are shared transformed and transmuted. If all of my research and work can inspire you, enhance your work and the future - that is amazing!
In these times, I want to share and bring my best, continue to grow, learn, explore and be inspired! It touches me deeply to see dancers using the work to train, perform, and live; to see E.A.S.E being used for rehab and general well-being and to be able each day to be inspired by the people in front of me because every day is a new day and a new blend of possibilities an discoveries.
I have taught for the Royal Danish Ballet, schooled in Bournenville. I am certified in the ABT Curriculum, RAD, Cecchetti Technique, Horton Technique, Feldenkrais Self-Corrective Mechanisms. I have been a licensed and certified therapist since 1988 with a Masters in Psychology and Dance/Dance in Education. I teach for the Upledger Institute and am an Advanced Craniosacrale Therapist. I have danced both nationally and internationally and trained with the Masters of our time - I want to pass on the best of traditions to ensure the future of all that we love!
If my more than 50+ years of experience, mistakes, discoveries, inspirations and joy can be shared with you or your dancers or students - I am excited for all those possibilites. I love the beauty of this art, the depth and expansion it offers to the student, the dancer, the choreographer and the observer. I believe in the majesty of working together, to laughing and crying and becoming! It is a whimsical, wonderful and life-fulfilling journey. Come experience with us! ~ Jayne Persch
The world needs the arts in its fast paced, chaotic, mindless race toward .... our commitment is to the young, the future - to the hearts and minds of each day.
About Jayne's Work -BRIAH ~ A Brilliant System of Movement
Work with Jayne Persch - is derived from and continues to contribute to all systems of movement and dance. The understanding in BRIAH Work - of the body (anatomy, kinetic chains, mechanical links, anatomy trains , meridians and fascia), the mind (neuromuscular connections, patterns and pre-dispositions) and Spirit ( the body as memory, muscles to organs to memories and response - Conjunctio Mysterium from Carl Jung) supports all movement. It gets to the essence and initiation of movement.: It is curative and preventative and contributes to longevity and rehabilitation. It is inspirational in the discovery of artistry... and it is fun! We all dance!
Discover your movement in the finest tradition of Classical & Contemporary Dance, from classical ballet based in the finest traditions of Europe and America (Vaganova, Bolshoi, Cecchetti, Celli, RAD, Royal Ballet through ABT and Balanchine) and techniques from the founders of Modern Dance Techniques including Graham, Horton, Cunningham, Limon, and Parsons. See how it works with Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates and Gyro! Classes and workshops begin with you and are anatomically designed for each dancer - body, mind and spirit!

BRIAH Work and Embodied Awareness Philosophy
Foundations ~ GroundworX ~ Embodied Awareness Systems Explained or E.A.S.E Conditioning ~ Education
It is BRIAH's intention to help develop the kind of dancer, teacher, choreographer and therapist who is excited and passionate about sharing the joy and transformational powers of movement through understanding the entwining of body, mind and spirit. Dance & Movement’s increasing popularity brings with it the need for instructors who are confident and qualified to bring forth its teaching based in traditions and explained for today in our communities.
This journey is designed to help dancers, choreographers, teachers, therapists to systematically build knowledge, develop skills with a new perspective, incorporating the new sciences with traditional training systems and ancient wisdom.
Students of this program may wish to simply deepen their own practice, or develop an understanding of the principles needed to be personally safe, efficient in movement and continually opening to individual artistry. Health and well-being of dancers is paramount to BRIAH work. For teachers and therapists, the program offers an alternative understanding to offer and lead safe, instructional, and inspirational classes, sessions and workshops.
Through looking at the human process of being, studying the arts and the new sciences, medicine, color and tone, BRIAH Work offers courses; classes, workshops and certifications and training as an alternative, interwoven consciousness of the body, mind and spirit in movement.
The wonder of this work is for all of us ~ dancers, non-dancers, specialist, artists, teachers, choreographers and therapists.
CERTIFICATION - Add BRIAH Work & E.A.S.E to your teaching, choreography, therapeutic modalities through certification, workshops, classes and open stages. It is just a new way to see, to open the door, to be inspired!
